DIN Y-type Globe Valve

DIN DIN Y-type Globe Valve can completely shut off fluid flow in a pipeline. It allows for:Safely separating sections for maintenanceor repair,stopping flow entirely (not for throttling) and roviding a positive seal against leaks when closed.

Working principle:

The opening and closing part of the ANSI Y-type Globe Valve is a stopper disc. The sealing surface is flat or conical, and the disc moves linearly along the centerline of the fluid. ANSI Y-type   Globe Valve belongs to the forced sealing type valve. Therefore, when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction force between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force required to close the valve is greater than that required to open it, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger; otherwise, the valve stem may bend at the top.
